On February 6, 2024, a “Knowledge Hour” dedicated to the 583rd anniversary of Alisher Navoiy’s birth was organized at the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In the lecture, Davron Nuriddinovich Khojayev, Associate Professor of the “Philosophy and Logic” Department at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philosophy, delivered a lecture on the topic “The Manifestation of Patriotism and Nationalism in Alisher Navoiy’s Teachings”.
During the event, Professor Davron Khojaev provided an in-depth analysis of how patriotic and people-centered ideas evolved in Alisher Navoi’s works. He discussed how these themes were portrayed across Navoi’s poetry and prose, highlighting the significance of national freedom, the well-being and liberty of the people, and the profound love for the homeland and its citizens.
In his speech, the professor used examples from Navoi’s works to illustrate his arguments. He also highlighted the significance of Navoi’s ideas for today’s youth and underscored the crucial role of national values in bringing these ideas to life.
At the end of the presentation, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts.
