Every faculty at the National University of Uzbekistan conducts a Movie Day for students, showcasing wonderful Uzbek movies. These events provide students with an opportunity to enjoy and appreciate the rich cinematic heritage of Uzbekistan. Movie Day fosters a sense of cultural pride and offers a relaxing and engaging break from academic activities. It also encourages discussions about Uzbek culture, history, and storytelling among students.

The students were shown the films “in search of happiness” about the fate of the father and man, who overcame family, difficulties and these synoats with perseverance and patience, “Ilhaq”, which tells about the perseverance of a mother who lost five children during the Great Patriotic War, and “Abdullah Oripov”, which was shot at the people’s poet of Uzbekistan.
