At the National University of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Central Asian University of Environmental and Climate Change Studies, and the World Bank, “Education on Climate Change in Central Asia” An international conference was held on the topic “Development of youth entrepreneurship: ways to adapt to the climate”.
In it, there was an exchange of views between stakeholders aimed at the development of environmental and climate change education in rural schools in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
This event was supported by the World Bank’s Central Asia Landscape Sustainability Program (RESILAND CA+). The main goal of the program is to prevent desertification and land degradation in Central Asia and increase resilience to climate change
