Rector Inom Madjidov Enhances Engagement with Youth: Visit to Almazor District

On October 14th, Rector Inom Madjidov of the National University of Uzbekistan embarked on a community engagement initiative by visiting neighborhoods in the Almazor district of Tashkent city. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen connections with the youth residing in the area and gain insights into their needs and aspirations.

During the visit, Rector Madjidov had the opportunity to meet with young residents and engage in meaningful discussions about their experiences, challenges, and aspirations. The interactions provided valuable perspectives that would inform future initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering youth within the community.

One highlight of the visit was Rector Madjidov’s inspection of a project aimed at enhancing living conditions for residents of the “Hastimom” multifamily yard (MFY). The rector observed the results of financial assistance provided to a resident for construction and repair work, underscoring the university’s commitment to improving the quality of life for community members.

Furthermore, Rector Madjidov witnessed the positive impact of initiatives aimed at economic empowerment, as “Miskin” donated sewing machines to young people residing in the MFY. This gesture not only provides practical tools for skill development but also fosters entrepreneurship and self-reliance among the youth.

“The visit to the Almazor district allowed me to connect directly with young residents and gain a deeper understanding of their needs and aspirations. It is essential for the university to actively engage with the community and support initiatives that promote the well-being and prosperity of our youth,” expressed Rector Inom Madjidov.

The visit underscored the university’s commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships with local communities and addressing the needs of young people through targeted interventions and support mechanisms.
