Alliance Française de Tachkent is part of the global network of cultural institutions of the French Republic, dedicated to promoting the French language and culture in Uzbekistan.
The Alliance Française de Tachkent enjoys a dynamic and long-term partnership with the National University of Uzbekistan, built on shared goals of cultural exchange, language education, and academic cooperation. This collaboration plays a key role in expanding international understanding and strengthening ties between France and Uzbekistan through education, art, and dialogue.
Within this partnership, a wide range of activities are regularly organized. These include French language courses, teacher-training seminars, translation workshops, and cultural festivals that celebrate Francophone heritage. The Alliance Française provides students of the National University with access to authentic learning materials, modern teaching methods, and opportunities to earn internationally recognized language certificates (DELF/DALF).
Together, the two institutions also host lectures by French scholars and artists, film screenings, exhibitions, and literary evenings dedicated to French literature and philosophy. These events enable students and professors to engage directly with French culture and exchange perspectives on global topics such as education, human rights, sustainability, and innovation.
