On November 3, 2023, the National University of Uzbekistan held a successful tree planting event, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to plant ornamental and fruit tree seedlings across our beautiful campus. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to creating a sustainable and green environment.
At the National University of Uzbekistan, within the framework of the nationwide project “Green Space”, an action was held to plant ornamental and fruit tree seedlings on empty green spaces.
University leadership, professors and teachers, students of the faculty, workers, tutors and students took part in the action organized within the national project “Green Space” promoted by the head of our state.
As part of the campaign, 1,700 tree seedlings were planted in vacant green zones in the section of the faculties, including 700 fruit trees and 1,000 ornamental trees (800 chestnuts, 200 firs).
Participants enthusiastically planted a variety of trees, contributing to the beautification of our university grounds and promoting biodiversity. This action not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of our campus but also supports our environmental sustainability goals.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part in this event. Your efforts are helping to build a greener, healthier future for our university and community.
