On June 12-13, 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Geography and Geo-Information Systems of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, majoring in Geography, conducted “Complex Geographical and Local Studies” field practice in Arnasoy district.
The purpose of this field practice is to study the tourist objects and resources of Arnasoy district on the spot and collect information about them, to research ecotourism, ethnographic and other tourist objects, and to share the collected information with representatives of the local population and educational institutions.
During the internship, the tourism potential of Lake Tuzkon, which is a part of the Aydar-Arnasoy lake system, and its coastal areas, which have great potential in the development of tourism, were studied, and materials important for the development of the tourism industry in the future were collected.
Also, a detailed material about the existing eco-systems in the area was prepared and sent to the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
