The University Council discussed issues of education and scientific activity
The next meeting of the University Council was held at the National University of Uzbekistan. Important issues related to various areas of the university’s activities were discussed in detail at this meeting. The university management, professors and teachers, and heads of relevant departments participated in it.
The meeting was opened by the Chairman of the Council, Rector Inom Madjidov. Speaking, he sincerely congratulated the university’s professors and teachers and employees on the “Teachers and Mentors” Day. In his speech, the Rector highlighted the achievements of the university team in recent years. In particular, he noted that the university’s international recognition, high positions in prestigious rankings, and achievements in scientific activities are all the result of the team’s selfless work, dedication, and high responsibility.
After that, on the occasion of the holiday, a group of professors and teachers were solemnly awarded the “Higher Education Excellence” badge. At the award ceremony, achievements in the field of education, contributions to scientific work, and activities related to the development of the university were specially recognized.
During the meeting, the university’s future priority tasks, issues of improving the quality of education, developing scientific research, and expanding international cooperation were also discussed. At the end of the Council meeting, decisions were made on the issues on the agenda, and specific instructions were given to those responsible for implementing the tasks set.
This meeting is significant in that it serves to appreciate the selfless work of the university team, to stimulate its scientific and educational potential, and to organize the team’s future activities more effectively and systematically.
