At the initiative of the University Youth Union, financial assistance was provided to students in need of social protection

The primary organization of the University Youth Union is carrying out a number of practical works to ensure the social protection of young people and support them in the educational process.

To this end, the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the university administration, in cooperation with the university administration, announced a competition to pay 35% of the contract amount to students who have completed military service and have been accepted for study on a paid-contract basis based on a military recommendation. This initiative is aimed at further strengthening the desire of young people to learn and providing material and moral encouragement to young people who have served their homeland faithfully.

70 students from 13 faculties of the university participated in the competition. The working group thoroughly studied the documents of the candidates and approved the applications of the 15 students who showed the highest results. Among these students are young people who have served in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and are distinguished by their exemplary behavior and desire for knowledge.

As a result of this competition, organized under the leadership of Ulugbek Tokhtayev, the head of the primary organization of the Youth Union, the payment of 35 percent of the students’ contract fee was a great support for their continued education. Such noble initiatives serve to strengthen the feelings of patriotism, dedication, and hard work among young people.

Also, the application process will continue until February 15, 2025, and students are being provided with detailed information on this issue by the youth leaders of the faculty.

This initiative is a practical expression of the systematic work being carried out at the National University of Uzbekistan in collaboration with the Youth Union to provide social support to young people and create equal opportunities in the educational process.
