Renovation of sports facilities and increasing energy efficiency

In order to further improve the conditions created in the field of physical education and sports at the National University of Uzbekistan, and to support a healthy lifestyle for students, work is being carried out gradually to renovate internal sports buildings and ensure high energy efficiency.

The main goal of the work carried out by the university administration is to improve the energy efficiency of the buildings, along with updating their appearance. In this direction, internal sports halls and auxiliary rooms are being completely renovated and re-equipped with energy-saving lighting systems, heat-saving wall and roof coverings, as well as modern ventilation and heating systems.

As a result, heat loss in buildings is reduced and electricity consumption is significantly reduced. This will allow students to train in a comfortable, safe and environmentally friendly environment.

The “Green Campus” concept is being gradually implemented in the renovation of sports facilities. Buildings are being equipped with automatic energy consumption control systems, additional energy generation using solar panels, and solutions for the effective use of natural light.

This initiative is an important part of the university’s overall energy policy and involves bringing not only sports facilities, but also other educational and administrative buildings to a high level of energy efficiency.

The renovated sports buildings, along with the formation of a healthy lifestyle for students, will serve to create an environmentally responsible educational environment. Through energy-saving systems, the university will rationally use electricity and heat resources, which will ensure long-term economic efficiency.

Also, the air quality and temperature balance in the new sports halls are under constant control, which will have a positive effect on the health of students and teachers.

The university administration plans to bring all sports facilities, stadiums and gyms into line with international standards for energy efficiency in the coming years, as well as operate them based on green technologies.

This initiative will further strengthen the university as a leading educational institution not only in science, but also in the direction of sustainable development and environmental efficiency.

The ongoing renovation of indoor sports facilities and energy efficiency improvements at the National University of Uzbekistan is an important step not only towards improving the physical education infrastructure, but also towards creating an energy-efficient, sustainable and environmentally friendly environment.

This process is a practical expression of the university’s consistent efforts to implement the “Green Campus” concept, rational use of resources and raising a healthy generation.
