Show-concert program of the Sun Moon University taekwondo team at the National University of Uzbekistan
A spectacular show-concert program was organized by the Taekwondo team of South Korea’s Sun Moon University at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan. As part of the event, the audience was presented with masterclasses prepared jointly by Korean and Uzbek taekwondo masters.
This event was organized to strengthen friendly relations between our countries, expand sports and cultural cooperation. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Sarvarkhon Buzrukhonov, Rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madjidov, representatives of Sun Moon and Sunchonhyang Universities, other members of the official delegation, and hundreds of students and young people.
At the beginning of the event, students of the Faculty of Taekwondo and Sports Activities of the National University of Uzbekistan and members of sports clubs at the university demonstrated their performances. Their performances, which combined strength, agility and technique, left a great impression on the audience.
After that, the professional taekwondo team of Sun Moon University presented world-famous show taekwondo performances. Their skillful strikes, synchronized movements and stage culture were greeted with applause from the audience.
During the event, the parties discussed the issues of international exchange of experience through taekwondo, enrichment of educational programs, as well as the establishment of joint projects in the field of sports between the National University of Uzbekistan and South Korean universities.
The officials emphasized that taekwondo is not only a sport, but also a means of forming a culture of will, patience, respect and self-control, noting that such cultural and sports ties are of great importance in the education of young people.
At the end of the event, gratitude was expressed to the Taekwondo team of Sun Moon University, and souvenirs were presented by the National University of Uzbekistan. Representatives of the South Korean delegation also got acquainted with the university museums, educational buildings and sports facilities.
This show-concert program was a vivid example of friendship, cultural closeness and sports cooperation between the two peoples.
