A "meeting of three generations" was held at the Faculty of Journalism
In cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek and the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan, a “Three-generation meeting” was held at the Faculty of Journalism of this higher educational institution.
The event was attended by well-known journalists who graduated from the journalism faculty of the university forty years ago, representatives and members of the Journalists’ Union of Uzbekistan, professors and teachers of the university, and students. between the past and the future, the lesson of teachers – the perfection of their students” was listened to with great interest.
Honored teacher, doctor of philology, professor, youth coach who served in the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mukhtar Khudoykulov, who taught press theory to the students of this course in the 1980s, today once again “after the lesson” told his students he asked.
In response, former students donated their books on various topics. – Today, we are meeting fellow students of forty years together, – says Yolchi Muhammad, the editor-in-chief of “Oqdarya Ovozi” newspaper. They are just as enthusiastic about science and creativity as when they were students. Since graduating from the university, we have been working in various regional and district newspapers of our republic. The most important thing is that we haven’t stopped creating! At today’s meeting, we remembered the interesting events with our classmates, we remembered our teachers… We express our gratitude to the National University of Uzbekistan and the Journalists’ Union of Uzbekistan, who organized the meeting. Tolqin Eshbek, associate professor of the Faculty of Journalism of UzMU, head of the “Three Roots” school of creative skills, member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, addressed the highly experienced mentor journalists as follows:
– The great experience of our practicing colleagues is very important in teaching the secrets of creativity and professional skills to our students who are going to work in your editorial offices. We hope that we will continue to cooperate hand in hand in raising the generation of journalists-personnel who will be worthy successors in the future. Yolchi Muhammadiyev, editor-in-chief of “Oqdarya Ovozi” newspaper, Oktamkhan Akbarova, editor-in-chief of “Dang’ara” newspaper, Abdusalom Yoldashev, editor-in-chief of “Muzrabot” newspaper, editor-in-chief of “Chirakchi” newspaper, who worked effectively in the press for many years. Gulnora Jorayeva, deputy editor, was awarded the “Honorary label” of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan.
