In recent years, a strong socio-economic potential is being formed in Uzbekistan. The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev approved the national development strategy «Uzbekistan-2030» in five important areas. To implement this new strategy, it is necessary to coordinate the efforts of all layers of the population of our country.<\/p>

The changes in global, national and even regional economic and social trends observed today require the use of a comprehensive strategic approach at all levels of management and decision-making. Despite the fact that documents with strategic content are being developed at the country level, at the level of sectors and regions, and in a number of national corporations, they need to be further improved on the basis of a unified methodology for the development and implementation of strategies.<\/p>


For this, it is necessary to create a system of training professional strategists. to achieve this goal, the rector of the leading university of our country — Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan, doctor of technical sciences, professor Inomjon Majidov supported the idea of creating a Department of Strategy at the National University during a meeting with academician Vladimir Quint.<\/p>


It was decided to use the experience of the department of Lomonosov Moscow State University, which has been successfully operating for 17 years and has been training a generation of professional strategists, to form the methodological and scientific-pedagogical base of the Department of Strategy of NUU.<\/p>


In turn, academician Vladimir Lvovich Quint, the founder of the Russian School of Strategy, the world’s largest specialist in strategy theory and strategy methodology, confirmed his readiness to lead the Department of Strategy being established in Uzbekistan as a scientific director. Academician V.L. The strategy theory and strategizing methodology developed by Quint are successfully used in many countries of the world and in the last 15 years in Russia, both in the practice of strategy development and implementation, and in educational processes.<\/p>


For the development of practical strategies and the development of strategy as a science, V. L. Quint was awarded a number of awards, including the Order of «Friendship», and for the fundamental scientific work «Strategic leadership of Amir Temur: Comments on the Constitutions» on August 25, 2023, O’ awarded with the State Prize of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The President of Russia V.V. Putin recognized the services of Vladimir Lvovich and awarded him with the highest state award — the Order of Alexander Nevsky.<\/p>


The training program for professional strategists includes 35 subjects, such as network, regional, corporate strategy, strategic leadership, and strategic management of human resources, from methodological foundations that reveal various aspects of the process of strategy development and implementation. Students enrolled in the Department of Strategy program receive instruction in the fundamentals of economic, financial, and technological strategy directly from the founder of this academic school, as well as regional strategies at the national, sectoral, regional, and corporate levels. and will have the opportunity to learn from leading experts with development experience.<\/p>
