Particularly in innovative areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), women\u2019s involvement contributes not only to scientific progress but also to the promotion of gender equality in society. This aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal <strong>SDG 5: Gender Equality<\/strong>, which emphasizes empowering women and ensuring equal opportunities in education, research, and technological development.<\/p><p>At the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Intellectual Technologies of the National University of Uzbekistan, a scientific-practical seminar titled <strong>\u201cThe Role of Women in the Development of Artificial Intelligence in Uzbekistan\u201d<\/strong> was held on the occasion of <strong>February 11 \u2014 the International Day of Women and Girls in Science<\/strong>. Experts emphasized the importance of increasing women\u2019s participation in <strong>STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)<\/strong>, noting that their active involvement plays a crucial role in fostering innovation, advancing scientific research, and supporting the country\u2019s digital transformation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-dcc7760\" data-id=\"dcc7760\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b5b51eb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b5b51eb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The discussions also focused on supporting young female researchers, expanding opportunities for women to participate in scientific projects, and increasing their contribution to the development of artificial intelligence technologies in Uzbekistan. Such initiatives are essential for inspiring young women to engage in scientific inquiry and for creating an inclusive academic environment where women can thrive and contribute to technological progress.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, the active participation of women scientists in the development of artificial intelligence is vital for Uzbekistan\u2019s scientific and technological advancement. Their research, creativity, and innovative ideas not only accelerate technological development but also promote gender equality in academia and society. Strengthening the role of women in science directly contributes to achieving
