Alongside NUU, Bukhara State University and Karshi State University were also selected as project participants. This partnership opens new opportunities for Uzbekistan\u2019s higher education institutions in the international arena \u2014 including academic exchanges, joint research, and scientific collaboration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"892\" data-end=\"1154\">On the first day of the visit, a formal meeting was held with <strong data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"975\">Maria Rita Carota<\/strong>, Deputy Mayor of Pescara, to discuss prospects for cooperation in education and urban development. During the visit, future cooperation opportunities in <strong data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1347\">engineering, geology, and chemistry<\/strong> were discussed, and the guests were introduced to the university\u2019s laboratories and scientific infrastructure. The sides also agreed to share <strong data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1515\">SDG-related expertise<\/strong> and integrate sustainability principles into research and education \u2014 particularly in fields addressing environmental protection, green technology, and sustainable land use.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1693\" data-end=\"2020\">In a series of bilateral meetings with representatives from partner universities, Alijon Oripov presented the scientific capacity, international activities, and future cooperation prospects of NUU. The discussions covered key project areas, technical coordination, and practical recommendations for effective implementation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2022\" data-end=\"2299\">The meeting was attended by <strong data-start=\"2050\" data-end=\"2066\">Glauco Conte<\/strong>, Head of the International and Erasmus Office of the University of Chieti\u2013Pescara, and office representative <strong data-start=\"2176\" data-end=\"2190\">Ana Bargan<\/strong>, who emphasized the importance of experience sharing, academic mobility, and joint laboratory development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2301\" data-end=\"2612\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">This collaboration represents a significant step forward for NUUz and other Uzbek universities, strengthening international partnerships, expanding research networks, and creating new educational and practical opportunities for students and
