Turdialiyeva<\/strong>, titled:<br data-start=\"1226\" data-end=\"1229\" \/><strong data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1300\">\u201cBiological Treatment of Wastewater Using Advanced Aquatic Plants.\u201d<\/strong>This workshop introduced students to the concept of using <strong data-start=\"1362\" data-end=\"1440\">natural ecosystems as solutions to pollution and water resource management<\/strong>, focusing on the role of <strong data-start=\"1466\" data-end=\"1526\">aquatic plants in filtering contaminants from wastewater<\/strong>. The session emphasized the importance of <strong data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1596\">nature-based approaches<\/strong> in combating environmental degradation and mitigating the impacts of climate change.Students were highly engaged during the seminar, asking thoughtful questions about water quality, ecosystem services, and how biology intersects with real-world environmental solutions. The discussion also introduced them to broader issues related to <strong data-start=\"1934\" data-end=\"1983\">urban pollution, sustainable water management<\/strong>, and the need for <strong data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2064\">local innovations in response to global climate challenges<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2349\">In addition to the seminar, the outreach team introduced the students to the <strong data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2192\">academic programs and research opportunities<\/strong> available at the <strong data-start=\"2210\" data-end=\"2247\">National University of Uzbekistan<\/strong>, encouraging them to consider careers in environmental sciences, biology, and climate-related fields.This initiative is part of a growing series of outreach programs designed to make <strong data-start=\"2433\" data-end=\"2478\">climate education accessible and relevant<\/strong> to students in general education schools, particularly by connecting them with <strong data-start=\"2558\" data-end=\"2621\">university faculty, current research, and hands-on learning<\/strong> experiences.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2636\" data-end=\"2919\">By bringing expert-led workshops directly to schools, the Biology Faculty is actively supporting the development of a more environmentally aware generation\u2014one that is equipped with the knowledge and motivation to participate in <strong data-start=\"2865\" data-end=\"2886\">climate solutions<\/strong> at both local and global
