data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"107\" data-end=\"300\">On December 17 of this year, members of the Senate of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with professors and a group of students of the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"302\" data-end=\"958\">During the meeting, students received detailed information about the attention being given to youth in our country, the conditions created to foster their socio-political engagement, and, in particular, the opportunities available to young people in addressing climate change and environmental issues. They were also introduced to the Senate\u2019s structure, its operating mechanisms, and the latest developments in parliamentary activities. Special emphasis was placed on explaining how the Senate functions as a legislative body &#8212; how laws are drafted, discussed, and adopted and how citizens, especially young people, can contribute to shaping this process.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"1531\">Students were further informed about the mechanisms for advancing climate policy and environmental initiatives within the Youth Parliament. They received practical recommendations on how young people can participate in the work of the Senate, exercise their rights and responsibilities, and play an active role in decision-making related to climate security and sustainable development. It was also highlighted that the Senate is increasingly prioritizing greenification and incorporating environmentally friendly approaches when developing and passing new legislation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1533\" data-end=\"1962\">The meeting also addressed the importance of increasing the socio-political activity of women, creating opportunities for their broader participation in environmental projects, and strengthening state institutions\u2019 efforts to protect women\u2019s rights. Students gained practical insights into how they can contribute to these processes, uphold gender equality, and take an active part in making informed climate-related decisions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2460\">This meeting served not only as an opportunity for young people to become more closely acquainted with the activities of the Senate, but also as a valuable platform to deepen their political engagement, enhance their role in combating climate change, and foster a greater sense of social responsibility. Moreover, students had the chance to directly share their views and proposals with high-level state officials, which helped strengthen their interest in public governance and climate policy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b40de14 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"b40de14\"
