Both sides exchanged insights on the potential for enhanced cooperation in several specific areas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-63adb55 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"63adb55\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-6a2d7a2\" data-id=\"6a2d7a2\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7dcb40e elementor-widget elementor-widget-image\" data-id=\"7dcb40e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"image.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1280\" height=\"853\" src=\"https:\/\/sdgnuu.uz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/photo_2025-07-29_15-56-31.jpg\" class=\"attachment-full size-full wp-image-23623\" alt=\"\" \/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-90f32be elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"90f32be\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-86af614\" data-id=\"86af614\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-84e9a52 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"84e9a52\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"984\" data-end=\"1031\">Key points of collaboration discussed included:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"2420\"><li data-start=\"1033\" data-end=\"1231\"><p data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1231\"><strong data-start=\"1035\" data-end=\"1057\">Academic Mobility:<\/strong> Plans were outlined for launching student and faculty exchange programs, enabling short-term and semester-long academic experiences for students and visiting professorships.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1235\" data-end=\"1472\"><p data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1472\"><strong data-start=\"1237\" data-end=\"1269\">Joint Research Publications:<\/strong> Both universities agreed to encourage faculty collaboration on interdisciplinary research projects, with the goal of co-authoring high-impact scientific articles in international peer-reviewed journals.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1474\" data-end=\"1734\"><p data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1734\"><strong data-start=\"1476\" data-end=\"1495\">Summer Schools:<\/strong> The institutions proposed organizing joint summer schools in economics, applied mathematics, cybersecurity, and interdisciplinary studies. These programs will promote cross-cultural learning and research among students and young scholars.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"2420\"><p data-start=\"1738\" data-end=\"1976\"><strong data-start=\"1738\" data-end=\"1782\">Capacity Building and Knowledge Sharing:<\/strong> Delegates from Nazarbayev University visited the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Intelligent Technologies, where faculty members delivered several open lectures:<\/p><ul data-start=\"1982\" data-end=\"2420\"><li data-start=\"1982\" data-end=\"2158\"><p data-start=\"1984\" data-end=\"2158\">A session on <strong data-start=\"1997\" data-end=\"2030\">\u201cThe Cybersecurity Landscape\u201d<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2079\">\u201cA Tutorial on Short-Form Essay Writing\u201d<\/strong> was delivered to students of applied mathematics and intelligent technologies.<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2164\" data-end=\"2420\"><p data-start=\"2166\" data-end=\"2420\">Dr. Gonzalo Hap Hortelano gave a lecture in English to economics students on the topic <strong data-start=\"2253\" data-end=\"2309\">\u201cThe Role of Research in a Knowledge-Based Economy,\u201d<\/strong> focusing on the importance of academic research in national innovation strategies and sustainable development.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2422\" data-end=\"2542\">Both institutions expressed a shared commitment to advancing the <strong data-start=\"2487\" data-end=\"2530\">UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/strong>\u2014especially:<\/p><ul data-start=\"2543\" data-end=\"2671\"><li data-start=\"2543\" data-end=\"2574\"><p data-start=\"2545\" data-end=\"2574\"><strong data-start=\"2545\" data-end=\"2574\">SDG 4 \u2013 Quality Education<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2575\" data-end=\"2629\"><p data-start=\"2577\" data-end=\"2629\"><strong data-start=\"2577\" data-end=\"2629\">SDG 9 \u2013 Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure<\/strong><\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"2630\" data-end=\"2671\"><p data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2671\"><strong data-start=\"2632\" data-end=\"2671\">SDG 17 \u2013 Partnerships for the Goals<\/strong><\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"2673\" data-end=\"2879\">By fostering academic collaboration, promoting innovation, and equipping students with 21st-century skills, both universities aim to contribute to the development of sustainable, knowledge-driven societies.<\/p><p data-start=\"2881\" data-end=\"3084\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to hold follow-up virtual meetings to implement the proposed initiatives step by step and to designate focal points for coordinating the activities discussed.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, representatives from Nazarbayev University of Kazakhstan paid an official visit to the National University of Uzbekistan (NUU).
