Lomonosov, and Tajikistan&#8217;s Tajikistan National University, Akademik Bobodjon Gafurov Ho &#171;Jand State University, and National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, convened to exchange insights, share research findings, and explore collaborative opportunities.<\/p><p>&#171;Water scarcity in arid regions poses significant challenges exacerbated by climate change. Through this conference, we aim to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and innovative approaches to address these pressing issues and ensure sustainable water management practices,&#187; stated Yoqub Ergashev, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of National University of Uzbekistan.<\/p><p>The conference sessions featured comprehensive discussions on a wide range of topics, including hydrological modeling, water conservation strategies, ecosystem resilience, and policy frameworks. Attendees had the opportunity to engage in thought-provoking presentations, interactive workshops, and networking sessions aimed at enhancing knowledge exchange and promoting collective action.<\/p><p>&#171;Bringing together experts from diverse backgrounds and regions enables us to gain valuable insights and perspectives on the complex interplay between water resources and climate change. Collaborative efforts are essential in developing effective strategies and solutions to safeguard water security in arid regions,&#187; expressed Daniel Muller, professor of Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research.<\/p><p>The conference underscored the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, innovation, and policy coherence in addressing the multifaceted challenges posed by water scarcity and climate change in arid regions. Participants left the event inspired and equipped with new knowledge and partnerships to advance sustainable water management
