Brief information

The National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek is one of the oldest higher educational institutions in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. consists of flour. The Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek was opened at NUU.

Since its establishment on May 12, 1918, the university has fulfilled its educational mission and met the highest requirements of the time.

Public education workers – activists, the public, the regional administration actively participated in the organization of the university, and in the organization of education, later the founding assembly of the society of lawyers of Tashkent higher educational institutions also joined.

It was originally named Turkestan People’s University. In 1920 – Turkestan State University, Turkish State University. Since 1923 – State University of Central Asia, OODU. For decades, the first university in Central Asia has trained qualified personnel for all branches of the national economy – medicine, agriculture, industry, education, science. OODU graduates worked not only in Uzbekistan, but also in neighboring republics. The time has come when new universities started to form from OODU both in Tashkent itself and in the neighboring republics. OODU graduates are world-famous scientists – physicists, chemists, biologists, mathematicians.

 

Since 1960 V.I. It was renamed Tashkent State University named after Lenin. These years were the flourishing years of Uzbek science. Foreign students from China, India, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Algeria, Africa and many others have been students of Tosh DU. Tosh DU has become the flagship of Uzbek language science.

In 2000, it was renamed the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek.

In today’s highly competitive world, new forms of education promotion are needed. The Alumni Association is called upon to address this pressing issue. Successful graduates are carriers of the traditions of their Alma Mater, maintaining the reputation of the university while providing a link between generations.

Based on the above, taking into account the experience of the world’s leading universities, the initiative group of graduates of NUU is called the Association of Graduates of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek (Alumni of NUU), later referred to as the Association.

 

MISSION

The association is a voluntary public Organisation, established to coordinate and support communication and cooperation between alumni and the university to carry out joint activities determined by common interests.

 

CHAPTER 1. GENERAL RULES

1.1. The Association of Graduates of the National University of Uzbekistan (NUU) named after Mirzo Ulugbek (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is a voluntary public organization established without establishing a legal entity in order to carry out joint activities determined by common interests.

1.2. The association conducts its activities on the basis of the principles of equal rights of its members, self-management, voluntariness, openness and democracy.

1.3. The main directions of the association’s activities are adopted at the general meeting of the NUU Alumni association (hereinafter referred to as the General meeting) and are confirmed in this Regulation.

1.4. The official full name of the association is: “Mirzo Ulugbek National University Graduates’ Association”.

1.5. Short name in Russian: “Association vypusknikov NUUz”; in English: “NUUz Alumni”.

1.6. The address of the association: 4 Tashkent University Street, Almazor District, 100174.

 

CHAPTER 2. PURPOSE AND DUTIES OF THE ASSOCIATION

2.1. The main goals of the association are:

– To strengthen the corporate spirit among students and graduates of NUU of all generations, to promote the unity of graduates, their self-awareness and sociability;

– preserving and strengthening university traditions, increasing the prestige of NUU in the international community;

– encouraging graduates to get in touch with the university and the alumni community;

– increase the efficiency of using the intellectual potential of NUU graduates and university opportunities in the training and retraining of personnel required by the labor market.

– to unite the efforts of graduates who are able to contribute to the development of the university.

2.2. In order to achieve its goals, the association solves the following tasks:

  • creates an information and communication environment to ensure constant communication of graduates with the university and with each other;
  • Contributes to the expansion of social, pedagogical, scientific and business relations between NUU and its graduates, members of the Association;
  • adequately represents the university in the professional team;
  • increases the reputation of NUU as a recognized leader in the field of communications and telecommunications, which guarantees high-quality education and prepares specialists who are in high demand in the labor market;
  • Assists members of the association in professional retraining and improvement of their qualifications in NUU, in organizations and scientific institutions in Uzbekistan and abroad;
  • helps to develop effective forms and technologies of organizing the educational process and scientific research;
  • Assists NUU in guiding young people to the profession, recruiting new employees, distribution and employment of NUU graduates.
  • Development of social partnership of NUU, helps to coordinate and implement mutual interests of employers, state and local authorities, educational institutions, public organizations;
  • It helps to develop additional professional education at NUU;
  • Creates and/or develops new collective forms of information, legal and advertising services for the association;

Creates conditions for the implementation of scientific and technical ideas directly related to the members of the association;

  • Helps hold meetings with graduates of NUU;
  • They help to establish educational, scientific and business relations between NUU and enterprises of Uzbekistan and foreign countries;
  • Recommends members of the association for election to the Board of Trustees of NUU;
  • cooperates with the Board of Trustees of NUU in solving general tasks of supporting the university in its activities and development.

 

CHAPTER 3. Members of the association, their rights and obligations.

 

3.1. Members of the association can be graduates of NUU in any year.

3.2. Individuals and legal entities participating in its activities, participating in the work of the NUU alumni association – public associations can become members of the association. Interest in jointly solving the tasks set before the Association, the desire to join the Association is formalized by an individual application of the graduate. Members of NUU alumni association – individuals and legal entities – public associations have equal rights and obligations.

3.3. Members of the association have the following rights:

  • One vote at all general meetings of the NUU alumni association, during elections and working meetings; Association members make decisions by voting;
  • Participation in all events and activities of the association;
  • To receive information and other materials of the Association, decisions of the Association’s management bodies and information about planned events;
  • use of scientific, methodological, informational and other materials prepared by the Association in its activities;
  • transfer of voluntary donations for the purposes of the Association established and strengthened in the Charter based on the voluntary donation agreement.

 

3.4. Members of the association have the following obligations:

  • Carrying the name of a graduate of NUU honestly and appropriately;
  • To actively contribute to the implementation of the goals and objectives of the association;
  • Participation in events held by the decision of the general meeting and the Council of the Association;
  • Compliance with the Association’s charter and timely execution of the decisions of the Association’s governing bodies;
  • Timely reporting to the Union Council about changes in home and work address, phone numbers, workplace and position;
  • if possible, provide advice and other support for the implementation of the Association’s activities;
  • Publicizing the practical results of the association’s activities;
  • fulfilling other obligations arising from this regulation.

3.5. The issue of acceptance and withdrawal from the Union membership is resolved by submitting a written application to the Council of the Union.

3.6. If the activity of the member is contrary to the goals and tasks defined in the Charter, the membership of any member of the Association may be terminated by the Council of the Association.

 

CHAPTER 4. STRUCTURE AND MANAGEMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION

4.1. Governing bodies of the NUU Alumni Association: the general meeting of the NUU Alumni Association, the President of the NUU Alumni Association (hereinafter referred to as the President), the Council of the Alumni Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association Council).

4.2. The supreme governing body of the association is the general meeting of the alumni association.

4.3. In the period between general meetings, the governing body of the Association is the Association Council. The location of the Association Council is at the location of the Association.

4.4. Members of the Union Council are elected for three years. Their powers may be terminated prematurely by the decision of the Council of the Association.

4.5. The Council of the Alumni Association determines its structure and rules of work.

4.6. The Council of the Alumni Association elects the vice-president (or vice-presidents) of the Association and the executive director of the Association from among its members.

4.7. The Presidium of the Alumni Association includes: President, Vice-Presidents, Executive Director.

4.8. The general meeting of the alumni association of NUU meets at least once a year. The time and place of the general meeting, as well as the agenda, are determined by the Association Council.

 

  1. 9. The Union Council performs the following functions:

– constitutes a summons;

– Calls a general meeting of the alumni association;

– Submits an annual report on the Association’s activities to the general meeting;

– regularly provides information about his work and the activities of the Association through mass communication channels between general meetings;

 

– organizes and conducts conferences, meetings and meetings on the topics of the association;

– awards the members of the association with awards for their high achievements in implementing the association’s plans and solving tasks; – resolves other issues in accordance with the approved work plan.

4.10. The President of the Association is elected by the General Assembly for a term of five years. The President performs the following functions:

– Performs general management of the association’s activities;

– represents the interests of the Association in central and local state authorities and public organizations;

– directs and organizes the work of the Association Council;

– Convening meetings of the Union Council;

– chairs the general meeting of the NUU alumni association;

4.11. In the absence of the president of the association, his duties are performed by the vice-president (one of the vice-presidents).

4.12. The vice-president is elected by the NUU Alumni Association Council for a three-year term. The Council of the Association determines the scope of duties of the vice-president in accordance with the scope of activities and activities of the Association.

 

CHAPTER 5. Final Rules

5.1. Disputes and disagreements related to the implementation of this provision will be resolved peacefully or resolved by the court.

5.2. Reorganization and termination of the association is carried out by the University Council in accordance with the procedure established by law.

5.3. Persons guilty of violating the requirements of this Regulation shall be held responsible in accordance with the law.
