A preventive event to combat corruption was held at the University Military Training Center

The National University of Uzbekistan is carrying out systematic work to combat corruption, strengthen the principles of honesty, and ensure transparency in the education system. In this regard, a preventive event was held at the Military Training Center with the participation of the leadership, professors, teachers, and young officers under the slogan “Corruption-free education is the foundation of the future.” The event was organized in cooperation with the “Compliance-Control” Department of Combating Corruption of the National University of Uzbekistan and the primary organization of the Youth Union.

The event discussed in detail the issues of preventing corruption in the higher education system, forming a culture of honesty, and increasing civic responsibility. The participants expressed their views on the harmful consequences of corruption on society, especially on the education system. Information was also provided on modern approaches to combating corruption, in particular, innovative measures being implemented within the framework of the “Corruption-free sphere” project.

In their speeches, the professors and teachers of the center emphasized the importance of educating young people in the spirit of respect for the law, honesty, responsibility and conscientiousness. During the event, innovative proposals were put forward to combat corruption, such as the introduction of a digital management system, electronic document management, and the development of open and transparent assessment mechanisms.

Also, during the event, special attention was paid to the role of the civic position in identifying and preventing corruption, the effective use of information technologies, and the importance of public oversight.

This preventive meeting was another important link in the large-scale work being carried out at the university to combat corruption, which served to increase the legal awareness and responsibility of not only employees, but also students, and to strengthen the spirit of adherence to the principles of honesty.

The National University of Uzbekistan will continue to work effectively to create a corruption-free, fair and transparent educational environment based on the principle of “Honesty is the highest value.”
