Students Actively Participate in Energy Innovation Expo with Energy Efficiency Projects
From November 14 to 16, 2024, Uzbekistan hosted the International Week of Innovative Ideas – InnoWeek-2024, a major national platform for showcasing science, technology, and sustainable innovation. Talented students from the National University of Uzbekistan took an active part in the event, presenting creative projects focused on energy efficiency and clean technologies.
The university delegation, led by Gulchehra Bekimatova, Head of the Department for Organizing Talented Students’ Activities, participated in the UNCTAD National Training Seminar on science, technology, and innovation policy, as well as best practices of technology parks in Uzbekistan.
Among the active participants were Muhammadali Niyozaliyev, a 2nd-year Master’s student at the Faculty of Physics, and Zulfizar Toshpo‘latova, a 1st-year Master’s student at the Faculty of Chemistry. Their joint projects focused on innovative approaches to improving energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions. Both students successfully presented their work at the “C.A.T. Science Accelerator 6.0 Demo Day”, where they were recognized among the winners.
Through these activities, the National University of Uzbekistan continues to strengthen its role in promoting energy-efficient technologies and sustainable innovation. Participation in international events such as InnoWeek provides students with valuable experience, fosters creativity, and supports the university’s mission to contribute to a greener and smarter future.
