Women's health training at the National University of Uzbekistan

The National University of Uzbekistan regularly holds events aimed at strengthening the health of female students and employees, informing them about a healthy lifestyle, reproductive health and physiological processes.

For this purpose, the next training session of the “Young Physiologists of New Uzbekistan” circle, which operates at the initiative of academician Bakriddin Zaripov, was organized at the Faculty of Biology. At this event, associate professor of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology, obstetrician-gynecologist Majvuda Yakhyayeva conducted a practical training session on the topic “Healthy Generation Education: Menstrual Hygiene in Girls, Sexual Diseases, Fetal Development, Mammary Gland and Climax Physiology”.

During the training, female students, master’s students, doctoral students, female managers and professors were given scientifically based recommendations on preserving reproductive health, important periods in women’s health and their proper management. In particular, the issues of following hygiene rules during menstruation, preventing sexually transmitted diseases, and raising a healthy generation were highlighted.

Such trainings are regularly organized at the university level, which help to increase medical culture among young people and help girls take a responsible approach to their health. This is of great importance not only in their personal lives, but also in the upbringing of the future generation.

The measures taken by the leadership of the National University of Uzbekistan to support women’s health are one of the important steps towards raising healthy, educated, and mature youth in our country.
