They also discussed organizing joint summer schools for students and launching collaborative educational programs in fields such as IT-medicine and applied arts—disciplines that are increasingly relevant and competitive in today’s global education market.
In addition, the sides expressed mutual interest in developing co-supervised research projects and participating in joint Uzbekistan-Belarus scientific initiatives.
Importantly, both universities emphasized their commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in areas such as Quality Education, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and Partnerships for the Goals. They acknowledged that international collaboration and scientific innovation are essential to advancing sustainable development and addressing shared global challenges.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding, formalizing their intent to strengthen academic and scientific ties. The parties also agreed to develop a roadmap for implementation and appoint coordinators to oversee specific areas of cooperation.
