The director of the “Aerospace Research Center” established at the National University of Uzbekistan and the faculty members of the “Geodesy and Geoinformatics” department at the Faculty of Geography and Geo-information Systems held a meeting with the leadership of the Space Monitoring and Geoinformation Technologies Center under the Ministry of Digital Technologies and the Space Research and Technology Agency. During the meeting, both sides discussed deepening scientific and practical research, implementing joint projects in the future, and, in particular, developing cooperation in the field of space research.
The meeting focused on the joint implementation of scientific and practical projects in the fields of geoinformatics and aerospace research between the National University of Uzbekistan and the Space Research and Technology Agency. The aim of these projects is to apply their results in practice and create opportunities for the effective use of modern technologies in the country. Particular emphasis was placed on training specialists at the international level and facilitating the exchange of experiences in the scientific field. To achieve this, the collaboration between the scientific potential of the National University of Uzbekistan and the technical capabilities of the Space Research and Technology Agency is expected to drive new directions in scientific research and contribute to the development of internationally recognized specialists.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides discussed expanding scientific cooperation in the fields of geoinformatics and aerospace research by establishing a memorandum of understanding and future agreements. These documents are anticipated to further strengthen mutually beneficial collaboration, promote the development of scientific research, and enhance the system of specialist training in the future.
