The deputy deans of the Faculties of Foreign Philology (X. Ergashev), Social Sciences (O. Musurmonkulov), Geology and Engineering Geology (S. Suyunov), and Chemistry (G‘. Abdurakhmonov) of the National University of Uzbekistan organized an open dialogue and roundtable discussion with the activists and parents of schoolchildren living in the “Ibrohim ota” neighborhood of Olmazor district.
During the event, the views and feedback of community activists and parents were discussed, with recognition of the University’s dedication to supporting the education and development of youth, fostering their involvement in scientific pursuits, enhancing their moral and intellectual growth, and ensuring their future opportunities for higher education.
Additionally, it was agreed to organize a weekly “Psychology Day” and conduct “Sociological” surveys at the community center and school, aimed at helping youth better understand themselves and guide them on the right path. Moreover, plans were made to establish a “Foreign Languages” club to expand the students’ knowledge and engage them with foreign literature, as well as to offer the “Sunday Chemistry School” supplementary education program and collaborate on organizing sports events.
At the end of the event, the directions for cooperation between the community, school, and university were reviewed once again, and an agreement was made to further strengthen and develop this collaboration in the future.
