For the first time, a mapaton event was held in Uzbekistan at INHA University. It involved 120 volunteers and industry experts in order to collect actual data on the level of drinking water supply of the population and the coverage of the wastewater system.
The competition for the formation of geoengineering data — the national team of talented students of the digital cartography circle, organized at the Department of “cartography” of the Faculty of geography and geoengineering systems of the National University of Uzbekistan in Mapaton, also took an active part. In this competition, which was attended by 10 institutions of Higher Education, the team of our university took 1st place.
