On October 14th, students from the Faculty of Ecology at the National University of Uzbekistan took the lead in organizing a commendable clean-up campaign titled “Let’s Protect Nature from Plastic and Polyethylene!” The initiative, driven by a shared commitment to environmental stewardship, aimed to address the pervasive issue of plastic pollution while fostering a sense of responsibility towards nature.
Initiated by students passionate about environmental conservation, the clean-up campaign saw enthusiastic participation from members of the Faculty of Ecology. Together, they dedicated their time and efforts to rid the university campus of litter and various waste materials, contributing to the enhancement of the surrounding green spaces.

“Our clean-up campaign underscores the importance of taking tangible action to combat plastic pollution and protect our precious natural resources. By working together to clean our campus and enhance its green spaces, we are not only fostering a cleaner environment but also nurturing a sense of collective responsibility towards nature,” expressed Allaberdiyev Rustamjon, one of the initiative’s organizers.
