On November 21, the All-Russian educational event “Ecological dictation” was held at the Russian House in Tashkent. The action was attended by schoolchildren, students and simply nature lovers and environmentalists, as well as students of the National University of Uzbekistan.
In cooperation with the representative office of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in order to increase the level of environmental literacy among young students, the knowledge skills of young students were evaluated through “Ekodictant” and environmental education tests.
Dictation participants are divided into three groups:
12 to 18 years old;
over 18 years old (not ecologists);
over 18 years old (ecologists);
Ecodictant is an annual project aimed at developing ecological culture, popularizing environmental knowledge among different layers of the population, increasing the level of environmental literacy as a measure for the prevention of environmental crimes and as a key component of environmental safety.
Dictation participants had to answer 25 questions of varying difficulty.
