An expanded meeting for tutors and educators was held in the conference hall of the Information and Resource Center of the National University of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by the university leadership, professors, deputy deans, and representatives of prevention and security agencies, who discussed issues of improving the social and spiritual environment of students, as well as the development of moral values.

Among those who participated in the meeting were the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Affairs, the Khokim of the Student Campus, the Head of the 4th Internal Affairs Department, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, the Rector’s Advisor on Women’s Affairs of the University, the Lieutenant Colonel of the 4th Internal Affairs Department of the Almazar TIIO FMB, tutors and educators. Their joint participation demonstrated a serious approach to ensuring a moral environment and student safety at the university.

The following main issues were discussed during the meeting:

Ensuring that students use the established procedures and conditions correctly – in this regard, students were given instructions on respecting the law and internal regulations, fulfilling obligations, and strengthening collective discipline.

Ensuring security in student dormitories – special instructions were given to tutors and educators, and issues of monitoring student activities, preventing dangerous situations, and directing them to make responsible decisions were discussed.

Effective organization of pedagogical and educational activities – experience was exchanged on the implementation of ethical standards, principles of honesty, respect, and justice by tutors and educators in working with students.

The university has clearly defined ethical values (diversity, honesty, respect, justice) in its strategic documents, and these values are implemented as mandatory principles in the educational process. For this purpose, a special department and an official have been appointed to monitor compliance with ethical standards and manage work in this regard, who monitor all ethical issues throughout the university.

One of the important results of the meeting is that tutors and educators have the opportunity not only to support students, but also to effectively contribute to their spiritual and moral development. At the same time, clear directions have been set for strengthening the values of honesty, respect, justice and diversity among students, ensuring collective discipline and safety.
