The activities of doctoral students and students were analyzed
The next meeting of the University Council at the National University of Uzbekistan was successfully completed. During the meeting, a number of important issues related to the scientific and educational activities of the university were discussed in detail. The meeting was attended by the university leadership, professors and teachers, and heads of relevant departments.
The Council first analyzed the results of monitoring the activities of basic doctoral students, doctoral students, and independent researchers in 2024. Through this monitoring, the effectiveness of scientific research, research areas, and achievements in the research of doctoral students were considered. At the same time, recommendations were made for the further development of their scientific work and the introduction of modern methods and techniques.
The issue of extending the payment terms for the 2024/2025 academic year for applicants who expressed a desire to study on a differentiated payment-contract basis, as well as students who have transferred from foreign and non-state higher education institutions, students studying at a higher level and graduating from evening education, was also considered. This decision will serve to ease the financial burden of students and ensure the uninterrupted continuation of their educational process.
In addition, the issue of conducting an examination of educational literature submitted to the university from other higher education institutions and paying experts was also discussed. This event is aimed at improving the educational and methodological process of the university, providing quality educational materials, and expanding students’ opportunities for learning.
At the end of the council, discussions on all issues on the agenda were completed and relevant decisions were made on the implementation of the assigned tasks. At the same time, the university leadership emphasized that special attention will be paid to continuing measures to develop scientific and educational activities, meet the financial and educational needs of students, and further improve the quality of education.
