Eco-Volunteers Participate in National Public Discussion on Environmental Awareness
On December 19, 2025, a national public discussion on “The Level of Environmental Awareness and Attitudes of the Population” was held at the Central Council of the Ecological Party of Uzbekistan Executive Committee Conference Hall.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Sustainable Development Center and focused on strengthening public involvement in environmental legislation and civic participation.

Under the supervision of Professor D.Sh. Yodgorova, a group of fourth-year students from the Department of Ecology participated actively in the event. Among them were 20 members of the “ECOFIDOKORLAR” (Eco-Volunteers) Club, which operates within the Faculty of Biology and Ecology.
During the discussion, the Eco-Volunteers engaged with experts and policymakers on key issues such as shaping public environmental awareness, identifying current ecological problems, and strengthening the role of civil society and legislative institutions in solving these issues.
The students contributed analytical insights and proposed practical recommendations for improving public participation in environmental initiatives based on scientific research findings.
