A Modern Psychology Laboratory Established at NUU

A modern psychology laboratory has been established at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek. The laboratory serves as a significant platform for both students and academic staff to conduct scientific and practical research, as well as to apply modern psychological diagnostic methods in practice.

The laboratory was created within the framework of the Uzbek–Polish “Katamaran” project and is equipped with specialized instruments worth a total of $40,000. Among the equipment are a polygraph (lie detector), a multipsychometer, and other advanced psychotechnical tools that allow the measurement of cognitive activity, emotional stability, stress levels, and behavioral reactions.

This advanced technical base enables the diagnosis of psycho-emotional conditions, the study of cognitive processes and behavioral responses, and the analysis of individual psychological characteristics. It provides psychology students with an invaluable opportunity to strengthen their theoretical knowledge through practical experience.
