Practical Training Enhances Students’ Professional Skills at the National University of Uzbekistan
During the interactive session, students gained a clearer understanding of how land resources are evaluated and managed, the procedures used to maintain accurate land records, and the importance of transparency and precision in the cadastral system. The participants had the opportunity to ask practical questions and learn about real-life cases that bridge academic knowledge with fieldwork experience.
Such educational events play a vital role in strengthening the connection between theory and practice. They allow students to apply what they learn in the classroom to real professional situations, thereby improving their technical competencies, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. In addition, these seminars prepare young specialists to meet the modern requirements of the labor market and contribute effectively to the development of the land management and geoinformation sectors in Uzbekistan.
Regular organization of practical seminars and field-based lessons is part of the university’s broader effort to enhance the quality of education and to ensure that graduates are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for sustainable development.
This initiative directly supports particularly which aims to “increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs, and entrepreneurship.”
Through such activities, the National University of Uzbekistan continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing high-quality education, fostering innovation, and preparing students to become competent, responsible, and forward-thinking professionals who can contribute to the nation’s progress and global sustainable development.
