The Art of Public Speaking and Communication – A Key to Quality Education
At the National University of Uzbekistan, a professional training session titled “The Art of Public Speaking and Communicative Competence – A Key to Quality Education” was held for academic staff and mentors. The session was conducted by Professor Rahimboy Jumaniyozov from “TIIAME” University, who is also the head of the Academy of Oratory Arts.
More than 50 participants, including professors, tutors, and administrative staff, attended the event aimed at improving pedagogical communication and teaching efficiency.
During the workshop, the speaker emphasized the importance of mastering both spoken and written communication, as they represent two essential wings of a teacher’s professional skill set. Participants learned practical techniques to develop clarity, confidence, and expressiveness in their speech, as well as theoretical insights on how communication competence enhances the quality of education.
The session was highly interactive, combining engaging discussions with real-life exercises. Educators shared their own experiences and reflected on how effective communication can inspire students, foster critical thinking, and create a more inclusive learning environment.Such initiatives contribute to the development of qualified and communicatively competent teachers, who play a vital role in ensuring that higher education meets global standards of quality, creativity, and innovation.
