Discussion of the implementation of the Collective Agreement at the University

The conference was attended by delegates elected from among professors, teachers and employees working in faculties and departments, as well as representatives of employers and trade unions. The event was directly attended by Deputy Chairman of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan Mahmud Boboyorov, as well as Chief Specialist of the Council of the Tashkent City Branch of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan Marat Ibragimov.

During the meeting, relevant reports and an inspection report on the implementation of the Collective Agreement in 2023 were heard and unanimously approved. The reports widely covered the work carried out to improve the working conditions of employees, social protection, health, cultural recreation and material incentives.

After that, the speakers made suggestions and comments, and the responsible persons gave detailed answers to the questions. Participants expressed their views on further improving the activities of the trade union, increasing the legal literacy of employees, supporting young specialists, and strengthening social protection.

At the end of the conference, the implementation of the Collective Agreement in 2023 was considered satisfactory. At the same time, priority tasks that should be implemented in the coming period were identified. In particular, new initiatives were put forward to further improve the working environment, expand social guarantees, and provide material and moral incentives for employees.

This conference was one of the important steps towards strengthening social cooperation between the trade union and the administration at the National University of Uzbekistan, as well as effectively protecting the interests of the labor community.
