COLLABORATION OF NUU AND A.S.I.E.

After six years of long-term cooperation and, of course, a prolonged pandemic, A.S.I.E. and NUU started new projects. According to the last agreement, the Civil Service in France has been restarted, and Student Irgasheva Medina is doing a 9-month internship in this organization in Bourges, France, and we will present her one-month impressions in this article.

First of all, the organization was supposed to hold its regional festival every year in the spring, but due to the pandemic and economic reasons, it was extended to October 3-22 in the fall of 2022. The purpose of this festival is to inform the public about the projects implemented by the organization in cooperation every year, and of course to promote and share different cultures. Singers, dancers and musicians of the “Bahor” ensemble representing Uzbekistan were also invited. The organization prepared for this festival a year ago. Irgasheva Madina’s arrival coincided with the initial organizational work of the festival and she participated regularly.

A.S.I.E. At the same time, the organization works with media such as BIPtv, RCF and Le Berry Republicain and has been invited to many interviews. In this recent interview, Uzbekistan was introduced.

On October 3, the opening process of the festival and exhibitions took place, and of course they were tasked with welcoming the guests, giving them detailed information about the exhibition, and taking the pace of each event. In addition, asso.asie maintains social networks and implements various projects around the goals of sustainable development.

The purpose of this festival is to call people for unity, peace, development of international brotherhood and implementation of measures aimed at protecting nature. As written above, the organization works not only for older people, but also tries to give a special world to young souls. Together with singer Joe Ziaco and Adrienne Bonnet, we organized a small group with elementary school students from Jules Ferry School. In the circle, the children were told about their dreams and philosophical views.

It is not an exaggeration to say that the festival brought together not only French residents, but also Uzbeks living in France.

All events of the festival were regularly actively participated in, and all organizational work was done together with the NUU student, an Uzbek girl doing civil service.

cooperation for climate resilience

In March 2023, the National University of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the “Uzbekistan-France” Friendship Society, A.S.I.E. (Association de solidarité internationale et d’éducation) in France, and teachers from the Universities of Tours and Orléans, established a mutual cooperation aimed at combating climate change. During this initiative, various issues related to climate action were discussed, laying the groundwork for ongoing collaboration.

As part of this cooperation, in the afternoon, teachers and students of NUU, together with volunteers from A.S.I.E., planted 20 trees at the City Clinical Psychiatry Hospital and an additional 80 trees on the NUU campus. This hands-on activity not only contributed to the greening of the local environment but also served as an educational experience. Alain Payen, one of the key participants, shared valuable insights on selecting tree species that are well-suited to Uzbekistan’s climate and provided guidance on their proper care. This event exemplifies the practical steps being taken through international partnerships to address climate change and promote environmental sustainability.

To sum up, based on the impressions from October, the Civil Service is not to pass it with a fixed task, but to help people, to instill solidarity in the minds of people and to promote it. aimed at knowing how to use all the abilities of a person and directing him correctly. However, it should be noted that the purpose of the organization, that is, of this association, is to work towards the goals of sustainable development, and of course, to strengthen peace, brotherhood-solidarity, loyalty and international friendship among the young future generation.
