Educational and Practical Seminar at Do’stlik City Specialized School
As part of its ongoing commitment to community engagement and environmental education, the Hydrometeorology Faculty of the National University of Uzbekistan recently conducted an educational seminar at the Do’stlik City Specialized School. Alisher Hudoyberganov, a dedicated student of the faculty, led the seminar, focusing on the critical topics of sustainability and the conscious use of water resources.

Raising Awareness Among Young LearnersIntroduction to Sustainability: Alisher Hudoyberganov began the seminar by introducing the concept of sustainability, explaining its importance in maintaining the balance between environmental health, economic development, and social well-being. Understanding Water Resources: The seminar delved into the significance of water as a vital resource, exploring the ways in which water is used in everyday life and the importance of managing this resource responsibly. Alisher highlighted the global and local challenges associated with water scarcity and pollution, making the students aware of the pressing need for conscious water use.

Practical Lessons on Water ConservationWater-Saving Techniques: To make the session interactive and practical, Alisher discussed simple yet effective water-saving techniques that students can implement in their daily lives. These included practices such as turning off taps when not in use, fixing leaks promptly, and using water-efficient appliances.
