Today, the “Volunteers’ Club” of the “Social Work” department of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek visited the “Taskin” first children’s home of the Republic.
The children being treated there were given sweets by partners “SAFIA” bakery and pizzas by “SARIQ BOLA PIZZA”.
A small entertaining concert program was presented to the children, pictures were taken with the children using the “Art therapy” method. At the end of the visit, the children were presented with various souvenirs. And most importantly, this day has become one of the most memorable and happy days in the lives of children.
The volunteers informed about the condition of the children being treated in this hospice located in Zangiota district, gave them sweets, souvenirs and performed an impromptu entertainment concert.
This good initiative will undoubtedly increase students’ responsibility to take care of the elderly and children in need of help, and to provide happy support to the people who are struggling with disabilities or serious illnesses.
It is no exaggeration to say that we were able to provide practical help for our students to work as real social workers
