National University of Uzbekistan hosted a scientific seminar on the topic “stimulating opportunities for women and men to study throughout their lives: achievements and challenges”.

The conference, organized jointly by the Committee of Family and Women of the Republic of Uzbekistan; the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National University of Uzbekistan, was attended by representatives of ministries, departments and organizations, representatives of international higher education institutions, scientists, as well as media workers.
Teachers of Kazan Federal University, Moscow State Pedagogical University and Tashkent State Pedagogical University, scientists, doctoral students and students of educational institutions of the republic also took part through the Zoom platform.
The scientific seminar discussed the work carried out in the modern globalizing world in connection with the need for adult education and training, the development of professional knowledge and skills, support for the education of women and men, common moral values in the educational process, equality in the educational process, and raising public awareness of the amenities created in the field of education.
During the conference, touching upon the topics on the agenda, representatives of the student youth revealed all the topics in detail with their presentations.
It is worth noting that the adviser to the rector on women’s issues of the National University of Uzbekistan Rustamova Rano parpievna in her report said: “The whole point is that discipline begins with education.”
Following the conference, an exchange of views took place between students and officials and issues of further expansion of the number and coverage of such conferences were agreed upon.
