On November 24-26, the mapathon event was held for the first time in Uzbekistan at INHA University. 120 volunteers and industry experts were involved in order to collect current information on the level of drinking water supply of the population and the coverage of the wastewater system.
“Milliy” team, consisting of talented students of the “Digital cartography” circle, organized in the department of “Cartography” of the Faculty of Geography and Geoinformation Systems of the National University of Uzbekistan, took an active part in the geoinformation competition in Mapaton. The team of our university won the 1st place in this competition in which 10 higher educational institutions participated.
